"Incredible Audible Art Tour"

Idyllwild, known for its abundance of unique galleries and talented local musicians, combines art exhibits and demonstrations in the galleries with live musical performances for the 2nd Annual Incredible Audible Art Tour. First Saturday, April 2, from 1-4 p.m.

2. Courtyard Gallery —  Featured artist: Polly Walker, brightly colored hand felted wool wall hangings.

4. Pop Arts Portraits Gallery —  Award-winning regional artist Ann Gawecki showcases her mixed-media portraits of her autistic son, Sammy.

5. Whitt Krauss Objects of Fine Art —  Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.

6 & 20. Two Babes in the Woods —  Featured artist: Jean Requa Lubin, painting demonstration “The French Horn and the Lilies.”  Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.

7. Everitt’s Minerals and Gallery — Featured artists: Larry and Janet Everitt. Alternating demonstrations: Lapidary/Wirewrapping. Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.

8. David Salk’s Feats of Clay —  Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.

9. Idyllwild Gallery of Fine Art —  Featured artist: Debora Wayne of Scottsdale showcases her jewels for the wall in glass. Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.

10. Lily Rock Gallery —  Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.

11. Circa Now —  Paul Carmen Jazz Quartet in the Village Centre gazebo.  

12. Artspresso —  Featured artists: Don McPherson, oils; Gerry High, mixed-media; Allan Moore, hand-painted ceramics. Music by Ernesto Alé.

13. From Around Here —  Featured artist: Darcy Gerdes. Music: Wayne Parker & Associates.

15. Baker Galleries —  Featured artist: Kristy Baker, miniature watercolor painter. Music: Todd Hodulik, mellow jazz guitar.

16. Skye Gallery —  Featured artist: Amanda Taylor, beaded sculpture show and demonstration from 12 noon – 2pm. Musician: Todd Hodulik, in coordination with Baker Galleries.

19. Four Corners Gallery —  Featured artist: Alexandria Hernandez demonstrating drawing of nature studies; Frank Vrabel, sculpting; and Elena Kern, oil painting. Music: Jack King Band.
